The following rankings are designed to help you compare schools based on factors like acceptance rates, DAT scores, costs, etc. They are not, however, indicative of quality. Please think holistically when choosing your best-fit school.
Programs
Dual Degree Programs
Discover the types of dual degree programs offered at each dental school. Dual degree programs allow students to earn two degrees simultaneously, such as a DDS/PhD or a DMD/MPH.
Advanced Standing (International Dental School Graduates)
Discover the number of international dental school graduates each U.S. dental school accepts for advanced standing each year.
Admissions
Acceptance Rates
Discover the number and percent of applicants each dental school admits. This data set contains the number of acceptances for each school. Many places online will report the number of enrollees, but this does not present an accurate overview of how many students are actually admitted.
Enrollment Rates
This dataset is similar to the acceptance rates, but now we're examining the number of admitted students that actually enrolled in each school. This is a good indicator of how many admits are interested in attending each school.
Mean DAT and Pre-Dental GPA
Access the average DAT and Pre-Dental GPA of first-year students at each dental school. The DAT is out of 30, and the GPAs are on a 4.0 scale.
Mean DAT
Access just the average DAT of first-year students at each dental school. All three categories (academic average, PAT, and total science) are included. The DAT is out of 30.
Mean Pre-Dental GPA
Access just the average Pre-Dental GPA of first-year students at each dental school. The GPAs are on a 4.0 scale.

Discover how much each dental school considers DAT, GPA, and various qualitative factors in their admissions process. Each school has classified their ranked importance of these factors as 'Very Important', 'Important', 'Somewhat Unimportant', and 'Not Important'.
Admissions Considerations (DAT)
Explore how much each school considers every category of the DAT score in their admissions process. See how much they value the DAT Acacemic Average, PAT, Total Science, Math, Reading, Biology, Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry sections.
Admissions Considerations (GPA)
Check out how much each school considers your Pre-Dental GPA in the admissions process. See how much they value your science GPA, non-science GPA, and cumulative GPA.
Admissions Considerations (Qualitative Factors)

Costs
Total Program Costs (Tuition and Fees)

Costs will vary each year, but this dataset will give you a good high-level overview of how much each school will cost you. Personal expenses like housing are not included in this data.
